Key dates for UKVI RAG 2026
From 1 June 2026, rolling RAG monitoring replaces the annual Basic Compliance Assessment cycle. Automatic band enforcement applies without negotiated action plans.

- Summer 2027 (expected) — public band ratings on the sponsor register
- Rolling cycles — bands can change when metrics breach thresholds
What changed from previous rules
Thresholds are tighter — for example Green band visa refusal falls from 10% under BCA to 4%. Consequences are automatic: Amber may mean zero new CAS; Red means at least 10% CAS reduction.
